Have you ever disliked a fashion trend in the past, and for some unidentifiable reason, you love it now.

Well, this whole Romper thing, I dig it.

Loving the Susana Monaco (below) Chic and simple enough so you can wear out for dinner with wedges...or during the day with T-strap sandals.

I'm obsessed with this next one, though.  I can't say much about it other than, it's totally awesome.

....Carpe diem!

It's been a while and my apologies for the delay.

In the week I've neglected you, I celebrated my 29th Birthday, had some family time, tried convincing my boyfriend to kick software engineering as a career and become a vegan chef...the list goes on.

My week in instagram.

..a little bit of vegan breakfast. Tofutti, tomatoes, salt & pepper. Heaven.

..a little bit of golfing in Tahoe for Fathers Day/ my birthday. As demonstrated here, I had a hard time playing the cool golfer chick.

...a little bit of color. Striped Maxi dress, my favorite vintage ring and pink nails.

...J, if you're reading this, you make the most delicious vegan cuisine in the West.

How long is your wish list?

I don't know about you, but I love lusting after beautiful things I find online and on Pinterest.  I am loving Zara flats lately. They are chic and sophisticated...and unique.  I tagged my favorites pieces of late, in case you want to lust after them yourself ;)

A Suzani POP... and an SF artist.

In my little San Francisco world, I bought a piece of art for my someone special months back.  I'm finally getting around to framing it.  A really awesome, upcoming SF artist called Jennifer Maravilles who I'm always keeping an eye out for her next creations.  Can't wait to put this pop of color on the walls.

Another pop of color I love..are Suzani's.  I fell in love with them some time ago, after working in the interior design for years.  They're hand-embroidered textiles and mainly made in Uzbekistan.  They were traditionally made in the 18th and 19th century as part of a brides dowry. Super cool, now they're everywhere I turn.

A designer I worked under years ago, had a passion for them...  She would come back from traveling abroad with Suzani's by the dozen, each unique and beautiful in their own way.   

You can find authentic Suzani's across the web and do anything with them; upholster a chair, have it backed with a bold contrasting color, throw it over a piece of furniture...they add a beautiful pop of color to any room.

New Packaging and New in Shop!

I've been thinking how to gracefully exit stage left..and reduce my carbon foot print.

Packaging.  Since the inception of Rasbarri, I've always shipped jewelry in brown, recycled jewelry boxes.  I rarely save a jewelry box.  I've decided they only take up space.  Off with your head, jewelry boxes!

Until I find the perfect washi tape and ribbon, I'll be sending out each piece using recycled card stock, faux-lace washi tape and small recyclable glassine bags. 

Now to the pretties.

I've seen an increase in orders from customers in multiples of two, necklaces in particular.  More of you are asking for certain lengths with the intent of layering, loving it!

Sandals, Wedges...new Rasbarri's.

I find it nearly impossible to resist a new pair (or two, wink) every season.  Loving the neutral colors and sophistication of these ALDO sandal flats.  Middle pair is in the lead right now.

I'm hardly wearing wedges anymore now that I live in San Francisco. Boo! I'm either walking, training or biking.  I always giggle when I see a chick riding a bike her in heels. I want to stick my hand out the window and give her a moving high 5.  What greatness in the world of chick.

Mission Sunday Streets...my weekend.

Saturday:

1. Tortured beau by dragging him around to shop in girly stores, Japanese craft shops & other odd places you should never take a loved one if you intend on keeping them

2. Decided that two orders of french fries as a complete meal replacement together was a genius idea

3. Dined at a favorite pizza spot, Pizza Delfina - with some pretty great people to close out the day

Sunday:

1. Spent the day with one of my best friends, her husband and their son - they're pretty special to me ;)

2. Frolicked around the Mission Sunday Streets together in San Francisco.  

3. Continued torturing loved ones by taking 5k photos with the intent of capturing life and us enjoying it.

  

We held ourselves back from riding something called the "conference bike."  If I ever see that again, I'm hopping on without apprehension.  Hot pink furry bicycles with bubbles & a herd of humans riding makeshift ponies built on wheelchairs?  Thanks for always being weird, San Francisco.

Friday Happenings...

My sincerest apologies for the lack of posts this week.  I've had work events, new hires and tons of crazy great things all around.

I have some really awesome jewelry updates coming after a beautiful new delivery of gems, charms and goodies that arrived.  Really excited to get working on them.

This week, my parents came to visit for a few days. My beautiful mum gave me an incredibly meaningful gift.  Her original engagement ring to my father, replaced with a stunning Emerald.  It's vintage, yellow gold and my new favorite possession.  Thank you, mum.

My little dog Maxwell came in tow while they were in town.  Super snuggle time for me!  What a good little guy he was, trotting along at work with me each day, sleeping near my desk.
